I've been getting really bad lately for stamping videos into these posts, but this one's a must - as it must be brought to Chris' attention immediately. BEHOLD:
Now that we have that out of the way...
Interesting news on the work front. Obviously, pay raise. Hooray for that. =) Also worth noting is that I should find out today whether or not I'm switching store departments. It was kind of a whim decision on my end, and seemed to be a welcome one on Debbie's. Bre and Crystal have been pestering me with "Haha, I know things you don't know!" and "I've been hearing good news!" for a few days now. It's an exciting thought to break away from check-out operation after 13 months.
On the same note, my uncle has informed me that he is back in business as of a couple weeks ago. Ripley Construction is no more, instead restored as D&M Overhead Door: Serving Minnedosa, Neepawa and Area. I think he called me as a means to recruit me, but things are going really well for me right now as is. Whether or not I'll be living another summer in my second home has yet to be realised.
Well, off to shower away the candybars from my internet-style connections. AND ALSO PC. =D |

I'm excited. I've never had the ability to burn a CD on my own before, my computer has been chewing me out about backing up my files, and Zellers has a 40% off sale on blank media this week. This means I get 50% off blank media. This week! Hah, actually the sale is over today but that's beyond the point. My computer will be happy and my automobile's CD player will be ecstatic in no time.

Y'know what I love? When people think they are cleverly disguising themselves when trying to stir up drama over the internet.
1) Use someone else's account.
2) Create a fake account.
3) Employ anonymity.
Here's a tip: Try removing your usual mannerisms, vocabulary and/or art style. They can become unfortunate dead giveaways. Also, full-on assault might not be your best bet. Try a different method.

I've had a headache since yesterday morning. It kind of comes and goes (or has a pulsating intensity, if you will) which isn't surprising: It's the change of the season.
Leaving that topic, it was a good day at work today. Lots of odd jobs and busy work for me which kept the day flowing nicely. AND NOW THIS.

My devWATCH list has gone crazy... More on MB.
So it's official. We're not going to EmoCon this year. It's kind of sad, but this way money can be saved. Instead we're going to X Fest 2 which was missed out on last year. This year's lineup is far better. Also of note: It's right here in Brandon.
I'm still getting over the fact that big name acts come to play our shitty little city. I think X Fest put us on the map last year. I'm excited. =D |

I just wanted to take some time this morning to further explain (but not really) the sudden halt of Eclectic Property. Although it is absolutely not my place to discuss the actual, told-in-full reasoning, I can tell you that there is a situation abound that will affect production at it's core. This situation will arrive mid-April, at which time script backlogging will continue. Strip 5 is ready to be posted but will only be done so when both Chris and I feel ready.
While on the root subject of writing, I must say that I've been doing more of that recently. Lately I've been finding inspiration to write more than to create visually, be it drawing or whatnot. Any other inspiration cannot be displayed publicly at this time, resulting in a quick, last-minute replacement of Blobs strip 10. It's unfortunate that the one thing that makes me want to draw/make gfx is the same thing that bars me from doing so. Oh well.
Don't be surprised if I announce a temporary departure from deviantART in the near future. |
